Aves takes its inspiration from murmuration, a special type of flocking named after the sound created from thousands of wing beats and soft flight calls. Unique and visually striking, murmurations move across the sky in arresting shape-shifting clouds, symbolizing co-operation and unity. Based on the movement of the birds themselves, a composition of interlocking wing-like leather elements are shaped and moulded to create a sense of flow and motion.
